About Me

My Story

Growing up on 70's and 80's artists, I established a love for music at a very young age. At the age of 13 I got the opportunity to see Billy Joel, in concert in St.Louis, Missouri from the 9th row. Being such an incredible show, the concert was what really sparked my love for concerts and live music. Since then I have seen numerous concerts from John Mayer to NeedToBreathe to Ed Sheeran to Panic! at the Disco.

Now, a junior in high school, I am currently taking a rigorous and prestigious class called ISM (Independent Study and Mentorship) that allows me to go off on my own and research a career that I am interested in by conducting interviews, research, partaking in observations and receiving mentorship. In this class I chose to study concert promotion, which is basically the business and marketing side of  a concert.

Like stated in my quote, the main reason I chose to take this course was to gain experience from professionals in my field of study so that I can eventually make my passion for music my profession.

Mission Statement

My mission in my independent study is to gain in-depth knowledge and experience in the concert promotion and music marketing field while strengthening my public speaking skills through meeting and collaborating with professionals. With hard work, drive, and self discipline, I plan on not only learning what it takes to thrive in this industry, but also gaining knowledge on how to successfully market a concert in the modern world by the end of the year.
